Getting there
About two hours from both Catania and Palermo airports. Civil ceremonies are held at the Comune and in licensed venues. Access to the park for photography requires a paid authorisation booked in advance; drones are not permitted without a specific permit.
Getting married in Agrigento & the Valley of the Temples
The Valley of the Temples is the largest archaeological park in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Doric temples from the 5th century BC stand along a ridge facing the African sea, and the Temple of Concordia at blue hour, lit from below, is a backdrop no venue can compete with.
Weddings here are usually celebrated in the surrounding estates and then continue into the park for the couple session, with a schedule agreed with the archaeological park authority.
